Multi-Conductor Unshielded 600V/1000V Substation Control Cables – XLPE/PVC
Allwire’s multi-conductor substation control cables are available in 600V and 1000V unshielded configurations. These semi-flexible cables are ideal for utility applications and industrial control circuits where low-loss, highly flame-retardant cables are desired.
APPLICATIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS:
- Semi-flexible substation control cables suitable for AC or DC use in dry or wet locations.
- Effective for use as aerial cables, installed as cable in conduit (CIC) or trays, or can be directly buried.
- Crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated conductors have excellent physical and electrical properties.
- The PVC jacket offers superior oil, chemical, and moisture resistance.
- Manufactured to meet the requirements of the ICEA 70,000 and 210,000 BTU/hr vertical tray flame tests as detailed in ICEA T-29-520 and T-30-520.
