Multi-Conductor Shielded 600V and 1000V Substation Control Cable – XLPE/PVC
Allwire’s multi-conductor shielded cables are particularly well suited for substation control functions. They can also effectively be used as general-purpose control circuits in various industrial applications.
These semi-flexible cables are available at two rated voltages: 600 volts for general control purposes and protective devices and 1,000 volts for use where high voltages are caused by breaking inductive circuits.
APPLICATIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS:
- Heavy-duty cables suitable for AC or DC use in wet or dry locations.
- Shield 5mm or 10mm copper tape. Other shields are available.
- For use as aerial cables, installed in conduit (CIC) or trays, or can be directly buried.
- Insulated conductors for enhanced physical/electrical properties and flame retardancy.
- Jacket is highly resistant to oil, chemicals, and moisture.
- Manufactured to meet the requirements of the ICEA 70,000 and 210,000 BTU/hr vertical tray flame tests as detailed in ICEA T-29-520 and T-30-520.
